People and TV Xuxa turns 50 Throughout her 30-year career in television she has garnered [1] success not only as a TV presenter, but also in film and music. On March 27 she turned 50   Xuxa is having a good time.  In January she started dating the  actor and singer Junno Andrade. In her professional life she has nothing to complain [2] about. She has been one of the biggest stars on Brazilian television for three decades. Xuxa debuted on TV in 1983, on the children's show on the now defunct Rede Manchete.In 1986 she began her reign on Globo, with another children's show. Xuxa became known as the Queen of the Little Ones [3].Between 1986 and 2008 she was the leading [4] children's TV presenter in the country. Her success spread to the world of music.  Xuxa has recorded several albums and sold over 30 million copies.  She has also been in several films watched by more than 37 million people in theaters. She is currently presenting a variety and interview show, on Globo, on Saturday afternoons.  Kids' Park Maria da Graça Meneghel was born in Santa Rosa, in Rio Grande do Sul state. On July 28, 1998, she celebrated the birth of her first and only daughter, Sasha, whose father is the actor Luciano Szafir.
